Abby – You will forever be our “princess”. Thank you for bringing so much joy into our lives and helping to raise five guide dog puppies. We will always remember your perseverance, independence, excitement, and exuberant personality. You were a beautiful girl, with the most loving and expressive brown eyes. You taught us about love and life. We will keep you close to our hearts always. Love,

Mom & Dad

Abby – We went to the shelter to see a different dog, but fell in love with you at first sight; such a beautiful girl and wonderful spirit. We miss the “abby dance” when we come home, playing ball (“the artful dodger”), and how you would bang your paw on the bed for the pizza crust. Thank you for the love you introduced us to between animals and humans.
With much love and gratitude,

Sharen and Larry

Haley – What a wonderful work partner and friend you were to me and so many others in the short time we had together. You are continuing to teach me and I thank you for opening a deeper space of learning and growing that I have not experienced before. Your happiness to be with children and teens was amazing; thank you for your patience and your bond to me.
Namaste,

Sharen

JJ – My beloved boy. You demanded I earn your love and respect. That's what I loved so much about you. Your integrity, fierce pride, wisdom and full confidence. In return you gave yourself completely. My hub said you'd die protecting me. I love you eternally.
Thank you for growing my heart,

Mom

Prickly Pete and Simon – After all the years of our friendship, I never thought that you both would become such incredible teachers of life and forgiveness. Your willingness to show me the heart and soul of relationship and an unconditional love that I may not have believed if it hadn't been from you both, as it came from goats and not a traditional pet. I regret that your joyful presence is no longer here. If you were, I think you'd be proud of me and want a Ritz cracker. Loving and missing you, with profound gratitude.

BJ, "The Feenz" – It's as if (probably is) life is orchestrated in such a way that the strongest bonds are created subtly over time. Before you know it lives are intertwined in a way that when it changes, you feel a great part of yourself has left, too. You were and are my constant. My pulse when I didn't want to have one. My warm happiness bringer when things were hard. You made quite a contract with God to help me and I believe I helped you too. I miss your "feeny" stink, your grunting, the way your ears banged against your head running and the way you drink water out of the toilet in gulps of three. I don't have to keep it as clean now. My life is richer having had you as a guardian angel in it and I trust that you still are. I'll see you as soon as I can. Loving you -

Michaele
